A Longstanding Commitment to Giving Back
For many years, Glesby Marks has supported local food banks in the communities we serve, including Seattle, Denver, and Houston. These organizations play a critical role in meeting essential needs, and we are proud to support their efforts on an ongoing basis.
In addition, we donate one vehicle each year to a nonprofit organization making a positive difference in its community. Access to reliable transportation can significantly expand an organization’s ability to fulfill their mission, and vehicle donations allow us to contribute in a practical, impactful way.

Making a Meaningful Impact
Each year, Glesby Marks donates one vehicle to a nonprofit organization that serves a clear and meaningful purpose within its community. Over time, the focus and selection process for these donations has evolved to ensure the greatest possible impact.

These conversations help surface nonprofit organizations that are doing important work and could benefit most from a vehicle donation. This collaborative approach allows us to make informed, thoughtful decisions.
To ensure responsibility and transparency, every organization considered for a vehicle donation is reviewed through Charity Navigator. The nonprofit must be legitimate, in good standing, and well-run in order to meet our criteria.
Organizations We Have Supported
Historically, vehicle donations have been made in Houston, where Glesby Marks is headquartered. Over the years, we have been proud to support organizations serving a wide range of needs, including children, families, individuals with disabilities, and animals.
Past recipients include:
- Boys & Girls Country – providing trauma-informed care for children from families in crisis
- Casa de Esperanza – offering voluntary foster care and family support services
- Houston SPCA – rescuing and caring for animals in need
- Houston Area Women’s Center – supporting women impacted by domestic violence
- The Brookwood Community – helping adults with intellectual disabilities find purpose and meaningful work
- Houston Jewish Family Service, Celebration Company – providing vocational skills and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities
